Seeing, year after year, recurring patterns and symptoms in our patients and the fantastic results of traditional Chinese medicine, we decided to start the Herb Kingdom. Our passion is to develop and offer products and services based on TCM to treat problems and symptoms in dermatology, fertility, menopause, hormonal imbalance, etc. In addition to our herbal tinctures, we offer products and services based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, quasha, cupping, etc.
With a combination of traditional Chinese medicine, tinctures and herbs, in a modern context and of the highest quality, we are convinced that our patients can find their way back to balance, health and well-being.
Founders
Patricia Ramirez Berglund, LAc, DAOM
Patricia has a doctorate in acupuncture and oriental medicine. She is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New York in the United States. She currently runs a private practice in Stockholm. A native New Yorker, Patricia has always been interested in East Asian art and philosophy. She has been a Chan Buddhist practitioner for over 15 years.
As a herbalist, Patricia specializes in the treatment of skin conditions and autoimmune diseases. After working for the Initiative for Women (IWD) at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City (2010), she became particularly interested in women's health issues. Patricia's
belief is that by educating patients in lifestyle changes, functional nutrition and the use of herbs as medicine as well as Yang Sheng (nourishing life) practices, people can influence their journey to wellness. Her passion is to strengthen people's health and well-being through mind/body/spirit treatment and integration.
Josefin Hemmingsson, Authorized TCM acupuncturist, leg. nurse
Josefin has been interested in natural medicine for a long time and decided early on that she wanted to work with people's well-being. Josefin is trained in traditional Chinese medicine and is a licensed nurse registered in Sweden. Within Chinese medicine, Josefin has chosen to specialize in female fertility and women's health and runs a clinic in Solna, Stockholm, with that as her focus. Josefin found her interest in fertility treatment when she did her internship at Acupunctura Valencia, Spain, which has a close collaboration with the fertility clinic IVI Valencia. Josefin also works part-time as a nurse in advanced home health care (ASIH), where she also provides acupuncture treatments to patients who are mainly undergoing cancer treatment. In addition to this, she is a trained yin yoga teacher and has a long yoga practice behind her.
